Royan International Twin Congress — encompassing the 27th Congress on Reproductive Biomedicine and the 22nd Congress on Stem Cell Biology & Technology — stands as one of the most distinguished and enduring scientific gatherings in Iran and the Middle East since its establishment in 2000. Organized by the Royan Institute, this prestigious annual event has evolved into a dynamic international platform dedicated to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and strengthening global scientific collaboration.
Over more than two decades of continuous activity, Royan Congress has successfully brought together leading scientists, clinicians, researchers, and academic institutions from across the world. Through vibrant scientific dialogue and the exchange of cutting-edge research findings, the Congress has facilitated the initiation of numerous joint research projects, academic partnerships, and international exchanges — contributing meaningfully to the global progress of reproductive medicine and stem cell science.
Building upon the remarkable success of the 26th Royan International Hybrid Congress (2025), the Scientific and Executive Boards have announced that the 27th Royan International Twin Congress will be held in a hybrid format from 02–04 September 2026 in Tehran, Iran. Following the global challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Royan Congress demonstrated resilience and adaptability by successfully organizing its recent editions in virtual and hybrid formats. These experiences have enriched the Congress structure, allowing broader international participation while preserving the invaluable experience of in-person scientific engagement.
The 2026 edition will once again integrate live, face-to-face sessions with high-quality online scientific programs, creating an inclusive environment that welcomes participants worldwide. Alongside the Twin Congresses, the 21st Royan Seminar on Nursing & Midwifery will also be held during the same dates, further expanding interdisciplinary dialogue and clinical collaboration.
The scientific program will cover the most pressing and innovative topics in reproductive biomedicine and stem cell biology through keynote lectures, plenary sessions, panel discussions, workshops, and oral and poster presentations. Emphasis will be placed on translational research, emerging technologies, clinical advancements, and future-oriented biomedical strategies.
